Join Me in Costa Rica: October 6–13, 2026

What if your next vacation could include rainforest adventures, wildlife encounters, waterfalls, volcanic landscapes, beach sunsets, and plenty of time to do exactly what YOU want? That’s exactly what I’m building for my inaugural international group travel experience to Costa Rica in October 2026.

Before you picture a traditional group tour with strict schedules and mandatory activities, let me stop you right there. This isn’t that. This trip is designed for travelers who want the comfort of knowing other people are traveling alongside them while still having the freedom to create their own adventure.

Whether you’re a seasoned traveler or considering your first international trip, Costa Rica offers the perfect balance of excitement, beauty and flexibility.

Why Costa Rica?

Costa Rica has long been one of the world’s most beloved travel destinations, and for good reason. It’s a country where you can wake up surrounded by rainforest, spend your afternoon soaking in hot springs beneath a volcano and finish your trip watching the sun disappear into the Pacific Ocean.

It offers:
● Incredible wildlife
● Stunning waterfalls
● Rainforest adventures
● Beautiful beaches
● Friendly locals
● Easy tourism infrastructure
● A welcoming atmosphere for first-time international travelers

For those who have always dreamed about traveling internationally but feel a little nervous, Costa Rica is one of the best places to begin.

Two Incredible Destinations in One Trip

Rather than staying in one location for the entire week, we’ll experience two very different sides of Costa Rica.

La Fortuna: Adventure and Nature

Our journey begins in La Fortuna, home to the iconic Arenal Volcano.

This region is known for:
● Rainforest landscapes
● Waterfalls
● Hanging bridges
● Hot springs
● Wildlife viewing
● Ziplining adventures
● River excursions

Whether you want to spend your days hiking, relaxing in thermal waters, photographing wildlife, or simply enjoying a cup of Costa Rican coffee with a volcano view, La Fortuna has something for everyone.

Manuel Antonio: Beach and Relaxation

After our time in the rainforest, we’ll travel together to the Pacific Coast and settle into Manuel Antonio.

This area combines beautiful beaches with lush jungle surroundings and is often considered one of the most beautiful regions in Costa Rica.

Here you can enjoy:
● Beach days
● Sunset walks
● Ocean views
● National park wildlife
● Catamaran tours
● Local restaurants
● Relaxation and downtime

This trip truly offers the best of both worlds.

Travel Your Way

One of the most important things to understand about this trip is that it is not a guided group tour where everyone follows the same schedule. Instead, think of it as a shared travel experience.

We’ll stay in the same destinations and coordinate transportation between locations, but what you do each day is largely up to you.

Want to zipline? Go for it.

Want to spend the day by the pool? Perfect.

Want to visit hot springs, hike or simply enjoy local food? You can do that too.

This approach allows every traveler to create a vacation that fits their interests, budget and comfort level.

Perfect for New International Travelers

One of the biggest reasons I’m organizing this trip is because I know how overwhelming international travel can feel the first time.

Questions start piling up:
● How do I get a passport?
● Which airport should I fly from?
● What flights should I book?
● How do I get from the airport to the hotel?
● What if I don’t know anyone?

If you’ve ever asked those questions, you’re exactly the type of traveler I want to help. You’ll have guidance before the trip, recommendations along the way and the comfort of knowing there are other travelers heading to the same destinations.

You won’t be alone.

Estimated Budget

One of the things travelers consistently ask is: “How much should I expect to spend?” While everyone’s trip will vary, current membership pricing gives us a rough estimate.

Estimated Costs Per Person

Hotels (based on double occupancy)
● La Fortuna: Approximately $200 per person
● Manuel Antonio: Approximately $225 per person

Transportation
● Group transfers between destinations will be coordinated separately.

Flights
● Sample fares have recently been around $350 to $500 roundtrip. It’s important to remember that prices will vary depending on where you’re flying from and when you book.

Food
● Approximately $250 per person for the week.

Optional Activities (price estimates depend on what you chose)
● Ziplining
● Hot springs
● ATV adventures
● Hiking tours
● Catamaran cruise, etc

As with all travel, pricing is subject to change until booked.

Why I'm Hosting This Trip

Travel has changed my life. I’ve learned that the hardest part of travel is often taking the first step. Many people spend years saying:

“I’ll travel when I have more money.”

“I’ll travel when the kids are older.”

“I’ll travel when I’m less nervous.”

The truth is that confidence often comes from doing, not before you decide to travel..

My goal isn’t simply to help people visit Costa Rica. My goal is to help people realize that international travel is possible, accessible, and incredibly rewarding.

Ready to Learn More?

If Costa Rica has been on your DreamMap or you’ve been looking for an adventure that combines nature, beaches, wildlife, relaxation, and personal freedom, I’d love for you to join us.

This trip is open to travelers ages 15 and older and welcomes solo travelers, couples, friends, and families. There will be opportunities to ask questions, view sample itineraries, review estimated costs and receive guidance on planning your trip.

The adventure starts with a single decision: Say “YES” to exploring what’s possible.

Costa Rica is waiting.
